Georgia Gun Sense Coalition just sent this out: Despite what you may have heard about the despicable actions in the Senate Chamber last night on the heinous gun bill, we still have a few tricks up our sleeve, and we need your help tomorrow, March 20 to defeat House Bill 60, the most extreme state gun bill in the entire country. We will have a check in table on the Second floor of the Capitol, the floor you are on when you enter on the Washington Street side. We will be in the south wing. Once past the security desk, take a right in the rotunda and go toward the steps. If you enter from another entrance, just take the elevator or stairs one flight up and look for us. We will be there from 9:30 am to midnight. Of course, we are looking for 2-3 hours or any amount of time you are able to stay. If you are able to come help us tomorrow by paying a personal visit to the Governor’s and Lt Governor’s office and speaking with a legislator or two, please respond with an estimated time or call me at [redacted] or just “Come on down.” COME HELP US MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN AND DEFEAT THIS HORRIBLE GUN BILL.
