Georgia | International law expert Legislative Assessment in Georgia Key expert 4: International law expert (200 working days) Qualifications and skills · University degree in international law with specialisation in international arbitration law or international human rights law · Thorough knowledge of European human rights system or of the international system of arbitration · Ability to ensure good communication and co-ordination with project partners, contracting authority and other local partners and stakeholders · Excellent presentation and organisational skills, strong intercultural communication skills · Fluent written and oral communication in English, computer literate · Knowledge of Georgian language would be an asset. General professional experience · At least 5 years working experience as a core staff in the field of international law in a public sector administration, as a lawyer or as a consultant in international law to a public sector body Specific professional experience · Experience in assessing and developing institutional and administrative capacity in government ministries · Experience in organising and conducting trainings/workshops in areas like negotiation skills, representation skills and legal drafting · Experience in reporting to international treaty bodies would be an asset · The minimum percentage of assigned working days of key experts under this contract, which the experts should work in the beneficiary country, should be not less than 80% of all allocated days, unless prior approval is given in writing by the Contracting Authority How to apply: Applications and updated CV should be submitted to [email protected]
