Georgian Foreign Minister obviously voiced the position of the government by stating that events in Ukraine will never influence Georgia’s European aspirations. I beg the government to have a close look to what has brought Ukraine to the situation it faces today. Was it not the Yanukovych’s government which substituted the outright westerner Yushchenko and introduced the policies of appeasement of Russia? Was it not the Yanukovych’s government which halted the aspirations of the people of Ukraine to NATO? Which stopped reforms and chose to bend its back in front of Moscow? And what has Ukraine got instead? Is it not humiliation and blackmail? Is it not a threat to partition the country? Is it not the threat to loose freedom and independence? I beg Georgian Government to draw parallels, to have courage and vision and to lead this nation to freedom and independence, not to Russian slavery any more. Enough of uneducated illusions! Vision is freedom and freedom is life! Go Georgia!
