Geraldine I Hall-Manspile Jun. 29, 1939 - Jan. 4, 2015 On Sunday January 4, 2015, at 4 am our mother, sister, aunt and faithful friend Geraldine entered into Gods Kingdom after a 5 year battle against colon cancer. Born in Rainelle, WV on June 29, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. Hall and Charlotte E. Hanna-Hall of Rupert, WV. Gerry as her friends called her was an employee of Alvis Floral Shop in Rainelle, WV for over 30 years as a florist. Gerry was always on the go as a member of the Rainelle Library Board, Rainelle Garden Club and was Queen Mother, the highest honor given, by the Dress up Dollies Red Hat Society Club of Rainelle, WV. She was also an active and helping member of her High School Reunion Board for the 1957 Class at Rupert, WV High School where she enjoyed gathering with her past school mates so much. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rainelle, WV. She is survived by her son John E. Manspile Jr., of Miami, Florida and a daughter Cheryl L. Sorensen (Brian) of Titusville, Florida. A sister Sue Ann Gibson (Larry) of Lewisburg, WV. Nephews Richard Tiller of Charleston, WV., and Wayne Tiller of Bellsville, Ill. A cousin, Eloise Canada of St. Albans, WV. Gerry had a kindness towards others where she always thought of them before herself. She was a true friend to so many, always lending a helping hand. Our prime purpose in this life is to help others and Gerry showed this every day. Ordinary people become heroes through extraordinary and selfless actions to help their neighbors. Services will be entrusted to Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle, WV. A meeting of friends will be Saturday January 10, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at the Funeral Home. Burial service will be conducted Sunday January 11, 2015 at 2pm with Pastor Bob Scharnhorst delivering her service. Entombment at Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, WV will be her final resting place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rainelle Garden Club or to Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.
