Geranium Essential Oil, 100% Pure, by Now Foods (30 ml) Information for reference only:- Known as the “women’s oil” because of its menstrual and menopausal benefits, geranium oil actually has a wide variety of uses. Besides promoting women’s health, it’s also useful for skin problems, like eczema and athlete’s foot, and for respiratory tract health. Its spicy, exotic, floral scent also makes it a fabulous aphrodisiac. Additionally, geranium oil is very gentle, and can be used by almost everybody, anywhere, anytime. Therapeutic uses: Aphrodisiac, circulatory system health, cold sores, cellulite, digestive mucous, frostbite, headaches, premenstrual syndrome, menopause, mood balancer, mosquito repellent, nervous tension, skin problems (like acne, athlete’s foot, and eczema), sore throat, stress and stress-related problems, respiratory system and tonsillitis. Essential Oil Applications: For cold sores, place 1 drop on a cotton swab and dab affected area. For frostbite, massage area with approximately 5 drops of oil. To balance mood, place 2-3 drops in a diffuser, or place on a cotton ball or handkerchief and inhale deeply 2-3 times. A bath made with 8-10 drops of oil will help relieve headache, premenstrual syndrome, stress, and tension. For cellulite, premenstrual syndrome, and menopause, mix 20 drops in 1 ounce of carrier oil and massage on body. For cellulite, massage on affected areas. For premenstrual syndrome and menopause, massage on abdomen and back, paying extra attention to the lower back region. As a mosquito repellent, use 5 drops in a diffuser. Can also be mixed with citronella for a stronger repellent. For stress and tension that interferes with a good night’s rest, place 4 drops on tissue or cotton ball and place inside pillow case. For skin problems (i.e. acne, athlete’s foot, chillblains, dandruff, eczema, etc.), put 2-3 drops on a cotton ball and dab affected area. To help relieve stress and tension, use 2-3 drops in a diffuser or lamp ring. Can also use 2-3 drops in 1 ounce of carrier oil for a relaxing massage. For respiratory problems, use 5 drops in a vaporizer. To relieve a sore throat and to help fight tonsillitis, use 2-5 drops in a steam inhalation. As an aphrodisiac, use 8-10 drops of oil in a bath or use 2-3 drops in a diffuser or lamp ring. Mixes Well With: Allspice, basil, bergamot, cinnamon, citronella, clary sage, clove, frankincense, ginger, grapefruit, hyssop, jasmine, juniper, lavender, lemon, lime, myrrh, neroli, nutmeg, orange, palmarosa, patchouli, pennyroyal, peppermint, rose, rosemary, rosewood, sandalwood, tangerine, tea tree, thyme, and ylang ylang. Safety Information: Geranium oil is perfectly safe for home use in moderation. In very large quantities, it may cause irritation to sensitive skin.
