Gerda Lerner was the first woman I found doing what I want to do - tell Womens History. She was an Historian and Scholar. I may or may not be a scholar, and there is a question yet if I am an historian. However, if women will contact me, tell me their stories, their mothers stories, and their grandmothers stories - we can see how good an historian I really am! Lets put women in the history books! There is an explosion of child abuse and domestic abuse stories. I bet this stuff has been going on for generations. How can we know? With the breakdown of the multi-generational household into nuclear families in the 1950s, many of us lost touch with our family histories, our family stories. But we all have some of these. Lets get the on paper before they are gone forever. Dont let our brave and determined fore-mothers lives be forgotten...
