Germany coach Joachim Low has included Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira and Borussia DortmundsMarco Reus in his 23-man squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Gibraltar and the international friendly versus Spain. Khedira and Reus missed Germanys defeat at the hands of Poland the draw versus Republic of Ireland due to injury, but have shaken off their injury problems. Furthermore, Lars Bender and Benedikt Howedes also return to the fold after overcoming physical problems. Koln defender Jonas Hector has been called up for the first time, while Hoffenheim youngster Kevin Volland only made his debut against Poland. Germany take on Gibraltar on November 14 in Nurnberg before travelling to Vigo for the friendly with Spain four days later. The world champions currently sit third in Group D with four points in three games.
