They can speak in tongues but are silent when they see wrong and injustice. Too many people in the church refuse to become active in the community and because of that, we have hell happening all around us. Think about it for a moment, How can people claim to want to be like Jesus and yet neglect those who are hopeless, helpless, oppressed, and depressed? Check this out - God wants to know what are you doing for those outside of the four wall of the church? When Jesus began His earthly ministry, He declared the words, The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lords favor. Please dont miss this. Serving God is more than singing and preaching. Its more than feeding and clothing. In addition to all of these, one must be willing to take a stand against wrong and speak truth to power. Get involved and stay involved in the good fight.
