Get It Right The First Time… A young child was sitting alone in a horse drawn buggy in front of the General Store when something spooked the horses. They took off running with the child in the buggy. A man watched as this took place. He thought that if he didn’t catch the horses and buggy the child would be killed. So he took off running, cut across a field, and caught the horses, stopped them, and saved the child from death. The child grew up to be a criminal, and several years later he was in court in front of a judge. He noticed the judge was the same man who saved him from death in the horse and buggy when he was a child. He said to the judge, “You saved me from death once when I was a child and I throw myself on your mercy to save me from death again. The judge said to him, “I was your saviour then, and by your lifestyle you rejected what I done for you, and now I am your judge and I must sentence you to be hanged for what you have done.” Jesus came as our saviour and the world said we don’t need a saviour, and we don’t want a saviour. And kept living the kind of life they were living. During the great tribulation mankind will shake their fist at God and curse Him for not saving them. They rejected Jesus when He came the first time to be their saviour. When Jesus comes the second time He will be the Judge and will sentence mankind according to their deeds. The moral of the story is Get it Right the First Time.
