If you want Christ to move in your life give Him the real you. •••How can we have true life change••• If we change whats in the inside it will naturally change the outside Like a gym membership we go in with great intentions but the enemy can keep us from getting the most out of it Revelations 3:15 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! Be all in or all out, dont live a mediocre life.... You have to make a decision, are you in? •••••How can we get real••••• Set aside every person you think needs change and take note then apply those changes to your own life Get real in the lifes of those all around you To have a real relationship with God we have to get close to Him Hebrews 10:22-25 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. God is always ready to do something huge in your life! He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.... He never moves! God doesnt move away from us we move away from Him! The enemy will creep in and slowly pull us away from God, its not normally a sudden change To have a true life change we have to make God the source! John 1:14 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory,the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. God will forgive!!!! Like an etch a sketch God will erase things for us if we ask and we allow Him to shake us up! You have to take the first step before you can start your journey with Jesus Christ ••••• Heroes of the Bible ••••• David became king 1 Samuel 16:7 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” We have a tendency to look at the outside of a person without looking deeper and finding out what their story is and finding out whats on the inside. When you peel away the layers you will find most often that the person that seems like a king on the outside turns out to be broken and hurt on the inside. Admit to God that you messed up and ask Him to heal your hurt! Matthew 13:14-15 14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. 15 For this peoples heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them. Are you applying the word of God to your life? •••••How to have true life change••••• Turn your face to God! What would the world see if they could see your heart? Admitting that your heart is messed up is the first step! Revelations 3:20 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Often we have Christian cliches that we use in talking but in reality we are broken on the inside and say things trying to make others believe we are doing good on the outside. Knock.... Knock.....Sometimes we hear God but we dont listen and sometimes we open the door and let Him in, its our choice.... He is not going to force His way in! He wants us to have life change and He wants our life to be better! Genesis 3:10 10 He answered, I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid. Adam and Eve were faced with sin and they tried to hide but found that you cant hide from God who is everywhere all the time. ••••How do we let God in•••• Luke 14:16-23 16 Jesus replied: A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. 17 At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, Come, for everything is now ready. 18 But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.19 Another said, I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and Im on my way to try them out. Please excuse me. 20 Still another said, I just got married, so I cant come. 21 The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame. 22 Sir, the servant said, what you ordered has been done, but there is still room. 23 Then the master told his servant, Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. To change we have to say: 1) Lord I am ready now We have been invited to know Jesus but a lot of us turn down the invitation because we are afraid We have to have time for God to move in our life.... Do you clear your calendar? 2) I have no more excuses Do we have time for God? Have you made margin in your life for God? Is God a priority in your daily life? 3) Lord Im broken God has invited you to the banquet even if your broken Quit noticing your brokenness and give your life to God and let him heal what others cant see Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosperyou and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. There is only one way to have life change and that is through Jesus Christ Take that first step by accepting Gods invitation! Is your life a reflection of God? If you were charged with being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you?
