Get Swimming to End Finning! Please visit our Finathon page below and make a donation! Here at Mataking Island we love sharks! We believe they are a vital part of our marine ecosystems and an ocean without them is unimaginable. That is why, as a leading eco dive resort, we have decided to take part in this years Finathon, to raise awareness and funds to halt the barbaric act of shark finning. Our staff and guests will be swimming the length of Mataking Island on the 18th August in an effort to end finning, and a big part of this challenge is to raise much needed funds to protect sharks.
