Get cultured AND charitable, yo! After the success of last years production of The Vagina Monologues, the Clitlective are doing it again with MMRP, a fundraiser for Wellington Womens Refuge, Te Whare Rokiroki and Shakti Womens Refuge! Last year was hugely successful with over $2000 raised for WWR and TWR and we are hoping to do even better this year! We have two seasons, one at 19 Tory St for WWR and TWR and one at 93 Kelburn Pde at Victoria University for Shakti. A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer is a collection of pieces by a variety well known writers, including Alice Walker, Mollie Doyle, Christine House, Nicholas D. Kristof, Kate Clinton and James Lecesne on the subject of violence against women. Some are poignant and moving, while others are lighter and funnier. All are performed by awesome Wellington actors, both amateur and professional.
