Get home from work, think I hear water running but go about making dinner and getting the kids settled in - finally realize after an hour I do hear water running downstairs and go outside on the enclosed porch and see water shooting everywhere and a minor flood! Freak out for a moment, get the main water line turned off. Thankfully the pipe is visible, and not inside the wall, and all the damage is generally all outside. My wonderful boyfriend Dennis is on the way to cap it off, after working an 11+ hour day, so I can turn the water back on. I cannot thank him enough for calming me down when I was screaming on the phone and for coming here to take care of us.
