Get involved in the Siskiyou Beef Country Cook-off set for July 26-27 in Montague, CA. There are chicken, pork rib and tri-tip entry categories. Vendors and musicians have the opportunity to showcase their talents at the event as well. Cook-off prizes are as follows: Grand Champion $1,250, Reserve Champion $750, 1st place $500, 2nd place $400, 3rd place $300, 4th place $200, 5th place $100. There are currently 14 teams enrolled. The event is an official "Kansas City Barbecue Society Event" and if the event does get 25 teams, then the Grand Champion of our Siskyou Beef Cook Off qualifies for the American Royal Cookoff and is entered in a drawing for a spot in the Jack Daniels World Champion BBQ contest.
