Get out to Calder Park Drag Racing tonight to see the VPW Drag Challenge cars in action. If you cant be there, follow along at: bit.ly/1piOwlA The staunchest effort so far has been by Luke Foley and his mates. After a engine swap the night before the event, the boys drove to Sydney from Geelong without a hitch, but on the way back to Albury, the Powerglide cried enough. They limped to the hotel and had the box pulled by 1.30am. Luke missed the ProFlow Shootout at the Motorsports Training Australia Facility, but was able to get the box to Mick Brody in Howlong, who performed an emergency rebuild. After a feed at the pub, Luke and the boys took the new box back to the hotel, fitted it up and then finally arrived in Seymour in the early hours this morning. Tough stuff and a great example of competitors doing the hard yards to help each other out.
