Get ready for a Revolt in music. The new cable channel from Sean Diddy Combs — the rap moguls calling it the ESPN of music — hits the airways at 8 p.m. ET Monday. Think of it as MTV if The Real World or The Jersey Shore or Teen Mom never happened. All about the music, baby, in the form of performances, videos, news and documentaries. Combs told USA TODAY in July that he wants Revolt to bring kids back to television in a world where the Internet reigns supreme. But taking a closer look, he knows the boundaries are really less clear — the channel will involve social media heavily and is intended to be available on multiple platforms such as smartphones, tablets and really anywhere you can currently stream media. Comcast and Time Warner Cable will carry the channel from its launch tonight, reaching parts of most major cities. Combs has been heavily involved with the promotion of the channel, even though he will not be a regular fixture in programming. Hes posted Instagram videos, tweets and TV spots hyping up Revolts debut.
