Danny Dinkins messages me out of the blue. We end up talking about snakes. He said he has two sunglows and a few hets he needs to go. We chat a little further and he ends up agreeing to let me have 1 sunglow plus three more of whatever I want out of his stock, for $100+shipping. I chose 2 sunglows & 2 hets for albino (July 21, 1:47am). Deal. I asked how much shipping was, he said he would check. I told him my location. (July 21, 8:51pm- we chatted about the genetics of the snake and a predator eating his guinea pigs after I woke up & such in between the times here.) (August 2, 4:38pm) Danny messages me about the Ebola virus. 11 days after he was supposed to get me the price of shipping for my $100 deal. (August 2, 5:37pm) I ask again on shipping (this is after he told me he sold the sunglows). He told me $60 to Florida. So I tell him my location AGAIN. (August 2, 5:38pm) He tells me he must have confused me with someone else (GET YOUR CUSTOMERS STRAIGHT). We talked about me getting a het for the price of shipping only to make up for his mistake. Told him I needed the exact price because I live paycheck to paycheck. (August 2, 5:42pm) I told him the deal isnt worth it since he sold my sunglows. He tells me he never heard back from me (he lacked to tell me the shipping price), then tells me it may be his fault because he talks to a lot of people. (August 2, 5:47pm) Danny then tells me he should have had me send $25 to hold the order & but shipping supplies. (August 2, 5:54pm) He tells me not to blast him on Facebook (sparked a red flag again). (August 2, 6:14pm) He tells me overnight shipping is $45 and that he can have her (the boa I picked) shipped to me by Tuesday. I told him I get paid Tuesday, and that I have $4 to last me. He said thats fine. (August 2, 6:38pm) Just so you know fixing my mistake I took an hour from my Saturday afternoon to make it right. - Danny Dinkins. (August 2, 6:51pm) You may have lost an hour, but I lost 2 beautiful snakes and 11 days. - me. We bicker back and forth about how he said he was going to do this and that and didnt, then I had to go to work. He checked in about buying the boa. (August 4, 9:51pm) Said he understood if I couldnt. I told him AGAIN that I dont get paid until Tuesday (August 5.) Tonight, he posted about that stupid Ebola virus. So I posted some facts. I cant post what he said because ya literally THAT bad and rude. Dont deal with Danny Dinkins from Louisiana. Yeah. My guess is he never sought to sell them to me in the first place. A good friend has been following this with me, and even said it sounded fishy. What did I learn? Dont deal with buttheads. Good lord.
