Get strong, heres why... Strength is the foundation of all fitness Get stronger and you instantly can do more work than before Get stronger and you can do the same amount of work WITH LESS EFFORT. An example for runners: If you only run for your training, then you can only get better at running AT THE SAME INTENSITY/SPEED If you train for strength AND run, then you can get better at running AT A HIGHER INTENSITY/SPEED Strength training helps your body deal with insulin better, so you can have a better hormonal balance in the body... ...you will then feel better, look better, have more energy...and did I mention youd be stronger?! Stronger bodies have less injuries Stronger muscles have a better capacity for growth, the stronger you get the more potential for muscle growth you have Stronger muscles become more DENSE, lean out and help to burn more fat as they are an active, energy-requiring tissue Anyone can get strong, its a basic, progressive, step by step process that you should be doing. And I might add, everyone SHOULD get strong. Go get strong!
