Gettin those new years gains with some SUMO SQUATS! One of my all-time favorite exercises on the Smith Machine. I like to do these after a heavy set of barbell squats. *Note: I put 5lb plates under my toes when I do this to put the focus more on the hamstring and glute muscles rather than the quads. Spread your feel apart shoulder width and point your toes slightly outward. When you squat, go as long as you can while supporting the weight, and push back up through your heels and squeeze your glutes at the top. #FeelTheBurn Instagram: @alexmariefit
