Im moving onto hardwood railway sleepers now for resin bees. It need not be expensive just find what you can. The bessa blocks are filled with rammed earth 50% local clay earth and 50% builders sand. Bundles of canes are wired together bamboo and hydrangea stems. The stump is hardwood turpentine drilled with 15cm holes using auger type drill bits. Two native pollinating wasps have already taken up residence.
