Getting lots of questions about timing and particularly related to travel. Expect light snow to break out in Southern New England Monday afternoon, ramping up along the South Coast Monday late day and evening. Monday night, a shield of snow spreads north across New England, with blizzard conditions setting into Southern New England, in particular, and travel becoming nearly impossible for many areas overnight. That continues into Tuesday, and a travel ban like was seen in February 2013 - the first since the Blizzard of 78 - may be required again Tuesday, particularly considering the heaviest snow comes 2 AM to 8 AM Tuesday, which would put road crews desperately trying to keep up at what would normally be a morning commute.
