Getting myself ready for surgery scheduled for this Monday Jan. 5th. Even tho I have a transplanted kidney a little over a year ago and hopefully continuing to stay healthy, I still have my 2 native kidneys. They leave them in and just connect the new one. My native right kidney has a tumor on it causing some discomfort but it has to be removed. Praying for all to go well and very anxious to get it over and done with to be on the mend. All in all I would do it all again. I will always remain forever grateful to my young donor who unfortunately lost his life but because of the choice his family made I can continue to live mine.
