Getting ready for a flight from Sedona to Illinois, I got so concerned about Lipo batteries vs. TSA agents that I decided to simply UPS my new V3 in its hard shell case instead of trying to get it on the plane. I had nightmares of hearing, Youre not getting on the plane with those. I know they have no more equivalent lithium content than many laptop batteries, but you can turn a laptop on to demonstrate its not a bomb. Is pressing the button on a V3 smart battery sufficient to prove that? Any real-world experiences out there to report? Maybe Im not the only one with worries about air travel with a Phantom.
