ELICHE E STELLE TRA GLI ULIVI 2014 Puglia, is a magic region and everyone agrees to when it comes to tourism , history, gastronomy. It is the second most chosen area in Italy, in the world ranking of the top destinations: with its landscapes, its sea , its picturesque villages and , last but not least , for the warmth of its people. It stretches, beginning in the north, from the high rocky and sandy shores of Gargano , with its longest beachfront promenade in Europe , Going south east through the Murgia area pictoresc farytale like valley environment called the valley of Itria, and going further South up to Salento area, gateway to the Mediterranean . It is since some time, however, that another interest can be mentioned and spoken about , which is equally fascinating and compelling: the vintage cars, lived and interpreted , with passion , and properly tuned in with Puglia locations and the people, the historical car is the bearer of friendship and an instrument of knowledge of this wonderful land and its reality. ELICHE E STELLE TRA GLI ULIVI 2014 born from the idea of amateurs, with the support of three major national historic car Clubs , the event is central and vital not only for those who have the passion for vintage cars it is also an excellent promotion of the territory. Every year it is always more and more beautiful and interesting. It s so, that the success of the first edition of the event has well traced the master road and clearly indicating a new opportunity not tobe missed. This year, the territory of the province of Brindisi will be the stage that will host the 2014 edition, to be lived stretched across two days to be able to enjoy the heart of a lush and thriving Puglia on bard of vintage cars. PROGRAMME OF THE EVENT Saturday, April 26 - From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm : Arrival at the hotel and crew registration - 05:30 pm : Departure for town of Ostuni - 06:00 : Arrival in Ostuni and guided tour of the historic town centre - 9:00 pm: Return to hotel and dinner Sunday, April 27 - From 9:00 am to 10:00 am : Crew registration in Piazzale Mercato - 10:00 : cars for positioned and ready for the start of the regularity race - From 01:00 pm to 01:30 pm: parade through the streets of Ostuni - 02:00 pm : Lunch - 04:00 pm : awards USEFUL INFORMATION The event begins Saturday, April 26th at 03:00 pm with the acceptance and registration of the crews care of the Nicotel Ostuni ( BR) hoetl, ends at 04:00 pm on Sunday 27th with the awards ceremony. The cost for those who join the event from the Saturday is of 170,00 Euros per crew (2 people and 1 car) and includes: - Registration to the event, - welcome cocktail, - travel guide to visit the historical town centre of Ostuni, - dinner on Saturday, - bed and breakfast, - Sunday lunch . The cost for those who participate only on Sunday is 70 € per crew (2 people and 1 car) and includes: Registration to the event and lunch.
