Getting ready to hit the sheets. Been a busy, emotional and touching day. Went to church this morning and had a few breakdowns. The empty seat my brother once occupied was too much too bare. They took up a donation to help with funeral expenses and by the time they were done, the entire funeral was paid for. Everything we have raised from the Gofund Me account, donations given to me, a spaghetti dinner we will be having on February 1 at the church and hopefully a bake sale we will have soon will go towards a tombstone. Going out to check prices on that tomorrow. Margaret Collins will have the final say on what we get because it is her place. I am not giving up until we have a stone for my brothers grave. We went back to the cemetary with our friends, Roy Harris and Rick Ritchason, and finished everything that needed to be done for the funeral and then headed straight back to church at 5pm.. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day with getting the boys hair cut, clothes picked out, check out monument company, go by Kingsbrook, help get pops ready and then to the funeral home for the calling hours at 5 for family. Please keep the family in your prayers, so much going on..I just want my brother to be laid to rest in peace and harmony..no fighting, no problems. This is his day..lets make it special.
