Getting ready to leave heading towards Folegandros tomorrow - TopicsExpress

Getting ready to leave heading towards Folegandros tomorrow morning. Expecting it to be a potentially long journey of over 40nm...ie...if the wind doesnt behave it could take us all day. Im looking forward to moving on but given the amount of swell being pushed into the harbour right now I have a hunch it might be quite an uncomfortable ride tomorrow. General feelings were a lot better today. Thing One made up for her off-day yesterday by being very helpful and both girls got loads of school work done. Thing One got the chance to help me with one of my orders, something she has been nagging me about for ages and with her help we got another large order ready for posting on Monday. Both girls got pushed off the boat to go play in the park as it might be the last chance of land for a couple of days at least. Captain Caveman landed a few more zargana in the afternoon but then scared the rest away so we had pita gyros for dinner from a souvlaki place on the front...not good gyros but edible. The wind has calmed but the sea is still very lumpy. We made the most of water on the quay to grab some showers and we are all enjoying the smell of laundered clothes in the cupboards. Boat is stocked with crap junk food ready for sailing along potentially rocking, rolling and cold. Distant lightning on the horizon, just grey here all day and a bit windy. Dont think it will be a late night at all tonight.
