Getting resistance beloved? Well if you will allow, I say good for you. That only means you are on the right track. Pressing in to the kingdom has a price. You will encounter enemies dear ones. If it were not so, you would not have a pulse. Sometimes it is so hard to openly love someone who has lived in your camp as a double minded person who is lost, yet has some kind of agenda you were never made aware of. Yes we must love and forgive beloved. But sometimes we have to love them from afar because we can see the lack of honesty in their hearts. If your family in Christ cannot come to you with both hands open, and true transparency, you may have a problem. God has an answer for all of it. He clearly tells us that He will prepare us a table in the sight of our enemies even as our cup runs over. There are a million or so scriptures in the word to share, but for the sake of time I will only list a few. And always remember that the devil always gets to us by using other people. There in lays the problem. ************************ “Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; lest the Lord see it, and it displeases Him, and He turn away His wrath from him.” Proverbs 24:17 “If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for so you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the Lord will reward you.” Proverbs 25:21 “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 “If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them … you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. I will give you peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.” Leviticus 26:3 “For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.” Deuteronomy 23:14 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.” Matthew 10:1 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me,” says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17 “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of Hosts. Zechariah 4:6 “For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit …” 1 Thessalonians 1:5 “For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 “The Lord is my strength and my shield …” Psalm 28:7 “In the day when I called out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.” Psalm 138:3 “O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people.” Psalm 68:35 “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” Isaiah 40:29 “For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.” Proverbs 3:26 “They shall walk after the Lord. He will roar like a lion. When He roars, then His sons shall come trembling from the west …” Hosea 11:10 “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 “Have you not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side?” Job 1:10 ********************** Now it is time for ME to forgive and love my enemies for their sake and my own. Love Annie.
