Getting tough on welfare is no answer because there arent enough available jokes, and only heaps further misery on the unemployed. Britains national debt was over 100% of GDP between 1918-1961 but we still created the NHS and welfare state, built millions of council houses, nationalised industries and introduced state education. Can we please have more of this and less ideological drivel from economic illiterates?
