Getting very close to finishing a Romantic Comedy / musical Ive been writing on & off for many years with Ed Greenberg, a brilliant writer/ director from New York who directed my one man show One Hit Wanderer. We are writing the book together & Ive done the music & lyrics. Its been the biggest creative challenge Ive ever undertaken, even dwarfing in size and complexity my above mentioned show. Hopefully well begin readings soon and the right producer, who shares our vision, will appear! Ya gotta be present to win and hope springs eternal! At the same time Ive been writing songs that are not for the show. I have several that Ive written with my dear friend Garry Tallent, for his upcoming first solo LP as well as a couple of wonderful songs written with Felix Cavaliere for his upcoming Christmas CD, although he wont be using the title I suggested for his CD: Felix Navidad. Ill be performing in Jackson, TN Saturday night October 18th. Lots of great rockers on this big , radio station sponsored package show. Thats my story. Whats yours?
