Gfs 12z pressure and precipitation charts for the 27th december. Later next week its looking likely that a deep area of low pressure will track across the uk, bringing the potential for widespread severe gales with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. And possibly turning to heavy snow in northern regions as the system moves away and cold air floods in behind it. However exact details at this stage are uncertain, further update later
