Ghana Sports Journalists Lie About Zambians Again, Mayuka:- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Highly jittery about facing a powerful Chipolopolo they have never eliminated from any major championship qualifiers, Ghanaian sports journalists have resorted to lies to try and calm and please their audiences. For a week now, they have been broadcasting that Zambians have been shaken by the recall of aging and old stars like Michael Essien, Ayew and AC midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng. In a latest posting, one of Ghana’s leading radio journalists Saddick Adams of Angel FM 96.1 lied that there were massive jubilations in Lusaka and Ndola which went late into the night allegedly to celebrate Mayuka’s goal for Southampton against Barnsley in the Capital One Cup. Of course no such celebrations but Zambians have been generally happy and pleased that the rising striker and 2012 Africa Cup top scorer has got off the mark in only his second season in England. What Saddick doesn’t know is that many Zambians did not even watch the match in which Mayuka scored a spectacular and celebrated with “back-flips” as he did when he scored to eliminate Ghana last year at Afcon12. In his pack of lies, Saddick wrote: “Emmanuel Mayuka became the first Zambian player to score a competitive goal in England and that was even in the Capital One Cup against Barnsley. I hear there were massive jubilations in Lusaka and Ndola deep into the night with many sitting over a beer to celebrate history.” He continued: “This night Ghana’s Prince Boateng scored two world class goals against UEFA Champions League against PSV Eindhoven. Unfortunately, the average Ghanaian is thinking about the Supreme Court and less about KPB’s goals because we cannot count the number of times that has been done.” Zambia and Ghana clash next Friday in Kumasi in a winner takes all Group D World Cup qualifier match source:- tumfweko/
