Ghana has accepted the UN request to serve as the ebola logistics hub. In view of this fact, a considerable number of jobs will be made available in the health sector. The National Service Secretariat is therefore working in conjunction with the UN and the ministry of health to enable national service personnel willing to help their efforts in mitigating the ebola menace. Personnel working in these capacities will receive monthly allowances of GHS1000 instead of the GHS 350 for the regular service personnel.
