Ghanaians always prefer using impending elections to blackmail/threaten govt. Sadly, govt at times fall flat to this pettiness. I think that any country that uses impending elections as a measure of how it conduct itself, is bound to fail. We must do things Ghana would benefit in the NEXT generation, not things that would benefit a party in the NEXT election, that way, greedy people will not use impending elections as a bargaining chip in their outrageous and unmerited demands, they would use Ghana instead and they will be mindful of posterity. We all praise our forefathers for the sacrifices they made to bring as this far, why cant we be just a bit like them. As Martin luther king said,,,,we are all caught up in an inescapable network of mutuality, what affects one directly affects all indirectly. You may thing you are doing this to hurt the NDC and JM, but mind you, NDC and JM are in Ghana, so it will have an adverse effect on you. the time has come for us to redefine patriotism. It comes with responsibilities and its a duty of every man, every child and every woman. No nation will succeed unless its citizenry are RESPONSIBLE!
