Ghost Hunting Term: TRIGGERS. Used during ghost hunting, these help to get the attention of spirits which may be haunting a location. Triggers can be items, music or even simply words associated the spirit that is suspected of being present. If the spirit is a child, a toy (ball, jacks or a doll, etc) may be placed in an area where they are known to frequent. If a particular spirit is suspected of haunting a location, you may want to talk to them personally, naming family members, talking about their job if the location is a business or such. This too can act as a trigger. We carry various objects with us, such as a small bag of toys, etc to use during investigations.
