Gibraltar Finance to attend Captive Live 2015 and ILS Summit Gibraltar Finance will be attending and exhibiting at Captive Live 2015 on 22-23 January at ‘Etc Venues’ St Pauls, London. Captive Live is aimed at risk management and captive insurance professionals. This years agenda covers a wide range of topics and provides an opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in the captive sector from leading industry experts. Gibraltar Finance will also be sponsoring and participating at ILS Summit in Hampshire on 20-21 January. This is an invitation only event and will be focussing on the developments and opportunities for the ILS sector in Europe. Albert Isola, Minister for Financial Services stated: We recently published the considerable number of conferences and events that Gibraltar Finance will be attending in 2015 to promote and profile our financial services industry on a global basis. Captive Live 2015 and ILS Summit are the first two insurance events for 2015. We have seen considerable interest in insurance linked securities (ILS) in recent months and expect to see Gibraltars first ILS transactions take place this year. Within the captive sector we believe the greatest area of growth over the next few years will be around the use of protected cell companies (PCCS) and we are working hard to provide opportunities for greater use and innovation of PCCs within Gibraltar.
