Gidday everyone, Well, Im here in Queenstown with my NZ friends. Have 2 days left with the group and then Ill be on my own in Queenstown for 5 days. Tomorrow another hike into the mountains and then we sea kayak a day later. This has been an incredible trip with all the scenery and the scope of it all...I hiked up to a mountain hut where there were 20 other folks and our group was the only goup to sleep outside under the stars....got pretty cold...had great warm bags to sleep in. When I get back to Queenstown Ill be biking around...have located a bike shop for bike rental. Sue Cronin....I have made contacts with the local Rotary club here and they will arrange to pick me up from my hotel and will be celebrating their scheduled Christmas bash with them....Damn it, I forgot to bring my lampshade. New Zealanders are a fun lot and they enjoy their outdoors....so for now dont forget to tighten up your boot laces and charge down that mountain -dick, chucky cheese
