Gig etiquette question: Performed a 40 solo set last night as part of a charity fundraising event. There was no stage lighting and the room was dim so the audience could hear me but barely see me. After my set the musician got up and decided to tell a very unoriginal and somewhat offensive joke- a jokey joke (that means about a 2-3 minute story with only one punchline at the end, not what stand-up comics do). Theres a chance that some of the audience might think that I was the one on stage telling the offensive joke (and my names all over the promo materials). Do I say something to the musician? I dont know him (and its not like hes some kid, hes at least fifty) to let him know that wasnt the right thing to do?
