This is just one galaxy out of many so think about it... There are many earth-like planets not too far within our own Milky Way galaxy and astronomers discover new ones on a yearly basis. Planet earth is not the center of the universe.(billions of galaxies) Based on many alien one on one contact through abduction cases is that the extraterrestrials claim,explain, or actually show the abductees that some of their planets are only 6-40 light years away so... They are closer than you think and yes... Some are still here on earth and maintain ancient deep underground bases/cavern systems with walls made from rare elements that are hollowed out with artificial light thousands of years old.(visiting operations,genetic research,etc...) They get there with an advanced parallel vortex technique going right through the ground or lake without making a splash(its basically based on what solar plane their planets exist on and how far they are located in the Cosmos hence inter-dimensional capabilities;theres always a more superior race),going into cliffs that mimic surroundings that open up and close like a jacket zipper, and by old dried up volcano tunnels throughout coastlines,islands,near volcanoes, and various mountain ranges. You wouldnt even notice it if you swam by,walked on, or approached their entrances because of their holographic biofield alternate reality trickery systems. Anyway, some stayed behind but most moved afar. All solar systems get frequent visitors just like earth throughout the universe(s). Each bright star(sun) or various mini moons you see at night most likely has at least one habitable planet near it with an upright walking species on it and/or various splices,hybrids,animals, creatures,microorganisms,etc.. The planets are most likely hard to discover because their located in vast distances in a parallel multi-verse zone unseen by the naked eye, hidden by special alien technology like an advanced safety camouflage shield used against hostile aliens,dark matter or unknown particles, and/or space debree.
