Gil Holt I have seen this story posted several times over the last couple of days and anyway you slice it I find it very very sad. As a parent that knows the pain of a forced separation from ones children I can tell you there is absolutely no joy in that. Regardless of what the reasons are or why the decisions were made. I am sorry for the gay child that was rejected by its mother, I am sorry for the mother who did not have enough love and compassion to love her child without limitations. I am sorry for the parent and grandparent that suffers a strained relationship with their child because they did not choose to love enough. And for the pain that parent feels for not only their own hurt but the hurt they know both their child and grandchild must feel with this terrible set of circumstance. If we could just not judge but love how many relationships could be saved.
