Cheers Rob Heres what Gillian said: Unfortunately I have not been able to attend productions this year due to work commitments but tonight I was free so was determined not to miss out again. What a night to choose, for I saw the excellent HIT production of David Williamsons play Managing Carmen. It took a little while for me to adjust to the language but I was soon taken in by the well written characters and scenario surrounding the promotional side of the football scene. My interest was held throughout as the plot and the characters were developed through excellent direction and acting, which at times was brilliant. This was a thoroughly entertaining piece with emotional and social content , sensitively and humorously written. David Williamson is a brilliant script writer depicting specific cultural attitudes of our Australian society. Congratulations to all.
