Gillis Rant Today we got a message from someone who was showing us some hateful shit a troll wrote to a mother of a deceased service member. He proceeded to say he was happy the kid was dead and blah blah. It was the kind of stuff that makes me wish I had frequent flier miles and a stun gun to criss-cross the globe handing out beat downs. Much like Jay and Silent Bob after their moviepoopshoot reviews. Before I decided to post this guy and his bullshit I ask for the back story. The woman Lisa Freeman a gold star mother, takes the uniforms of fallen soldiers and turns them into stuffed bears for the children and family members. This touched me so instead of posting something negative some scumbag did, I thought that I would post something positive and share the story. Seeing this kind of selfless act makes me disgusted with people who use their dead children to garner personal attention for their selfish desires. Women like Cindy Sheehan whos son Casey died in Iraq a few years ago. Cindy a longtime opponent of the Iraq war took her sons death to generate popularity and fame for the anti war movement. I hardly think Caseys memory was honored by her constantly bring up his name as she called the POTUS, W at the time every bad name in the book. Furthermore she went out and met with the leaders of countries who in fact hate America such as Venezuela. Currently she is running for Governor as a third party candidate. And hippies wonder why I make fun of them and call them names. Now I cant fathom how it would feel to lose a child. Just the thought of it hurts, however there are many ways to handle it. One is to find an outlet to focus on and do things in a positive light. One is to let the tragedy consume you and make you sad and bitter for life. But in my opinion the worst way is to run around invoking your dead child every 15 seconds to get people to feel sorry for you because you are an attention whore who has never done anything on your own.
