Gimlet Families, Over the past few hours, Tropical Storm Anas - TopicsExpress

Gimlet Families, Over the past few hours, Tropical Storm Anas path continues to move away from posing a direct threat to Oahu. This increasing reduction in threat has conflicted the decision to suspend training over the weekend. However, the current prediction remains that we will experience an uncertain amount of rain and wind that could impact training and potentially create flash flood conditions. In light of this information, Ive decided the following: 1) We will suspend training for Saturday and Sunday. Companies will return later this evening and be released tonight after accountability is complete. 2) We will resume training on Monday morning, expected formation time is 0630 (weather dependant). 3) We will make the appropriate adjustments to our training calendar from 20 - 28 October to ensure all units have the opportunity to complete their training. I encourage all Soldiers and Families to prepare for the storm conditions and take the appropriate precautions throughout the weekend. Please be safe and well continue Operation Han River after the weekend. Thank you for your continued service and support. Gimlet 6
