You dont have to be a PhD to understand the facts behind any greetings or celebration of an event ! If you are a law student or a lawyer, you will know how to specify rulings while drafting ! You will have, at least, the common sense that blanket over in drafting laws ! Similarly, you just CANT use Merry Christmas thinking of the son of Mary (aws) whereas those who invented it believe him as the son of GOD (Allah) as well ! If the word adolescence has a are-range, dont try to fool others using the same terminology while referring to the infants who fall under different age-group ! Bottom line, every terminology has a connotation ; we just can use them thinking otherwise !! So whats the IMPACT of saying this Merry Christams (acknowledging the fact of Allah having a SON) ?? Allah swt says in the Quran, in Sura Maryam (19) : 88-93 -- And they say, The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son. Indeed, you have brought forth a evil thing; whereby the Heavens are almost torn and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins. That they ascribe a sin to the Most Beneficent (Allah); But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a Son (or offspring or children). There is nine I. The Heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. And listen to this recitation of those verses ....
