Ginger Rice 4 Servings USES: 1 1/2 cups Rice, uncooked 1 4/5 cups Water 3 pieces Konbu, dried, about 2 inches squared 1 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce 1 tbsp Saké 1 ounce Ginger, fresh, peeled, and grated Thinly sliced Ginger; garnish TO MAKE: 1. Wash Your Rice. 2. Put Your Rice in a saucepan. Add to it the water, konbu, soy sauce, and Your Saké. Mix together well. Lrt soak for 30 minutes. Now you can cook the rice in the usual way. 3. Squeeze Your grated Ginger firmly by hand over a bowl to extract the juice. 4. Once Your Rice is cooked, remove the konbu, lightly fluff, add Your Ginger Juice, and gently cut and mix with a spatula. Divide into serving bowls. Garnish with Your sliced Ginger. Well Done!
