Gio, Every man wants power. Every man wants control. Every man wants to be a leader. These desires will manifest differently for each of us. One may climb hard to the top of a Fortune 500s corporate ladder. Another may dedicate tireless hours to become the next Olympic champion. One may take a leap of faith and become a pastor of their own church. On the flip side, one may become a leader of their neighborhood gang. And one scrub may resort to domestic violence against his wife and children. The drive within man is consistent and innate, but how we choose to channel it will vary. 1. You better choose to channel it towards something positive and beneficial for all humankind. 2. And on your quest, you better not leave behind what matters most. Dont let accolades and credentials consume you and pull you away from what matters in life—your family. For what good is it to be the best at this, and the best at that, if your marriage is in shambles, the bond with your children weakens, and your house starts to crumble? What good is it to gain the whole world but lose your soul? (Mark 8:36) Read of the mans trip to matters mountain.
