Girl makes a video of how much street harassment she gets walking through the streets of New York, and the majority of comments I have seen from peoples response (primarily male. But doesnt mean women arent saying this as well) is that she should have expected it? Shes wearing tight jeans so shes asking for it? Calling her a slut and a whore for walking in jeans and a tea shirt? Sending her death and rape threats? And feminists are the ridiculous ones... Right? Im honestly shocked at the responses this video has gotten. To the men I know are better than this please speak up and take action against street harassment and online threats against women like this. We need your words as well as ours. This is a problem thats happening all to commonly, and it is something we can stop together.
