Girls Basketball Preview Capsules-Class 3A SCIC Buhl has three seniors in Kennedy Bowman, Haley Gorrell and Natalie Morse, and has two more experienced underclassman forwards. There’s not a ton of experience depth for the Indians, though, which may cause some early hiccups. Filer will wear a huge target as the reigning 3A state champion, but the Wildcats graduated much of their height and team speed. They return four players: Haley Ackerman, Meghan Hughes, Sydney Koyle and Chelsie Reynolds. Gooding has experienced players returning, including Kadi McGinnis. Early optimism could hinge on a strong start to the season. Kimberly has a host of returning players that are talented and could threaten to regain their position atop the SCIC. Lawrence Pfefferle returns as head coach for the Bulldogs.
