Girls: HOW TO CLEAN THE VAGINA - Lather a soft cloth or towel with soap and water.- Use your fingers to pull the vulva (lips) away fromthe clitoris.-Clean the folds in your vulva and the hood of theclitoris.- Gently clean the skin on both side of the clitoris -The perineoum is the area between the vagina andthe anus. Clean that area.Take note to clean from front to back.-The anal area should be the last place to clean. - Do not scrub. If you do, you will irritate the area. -Make sure to rinse off all the soap to preventirritation. -Pat the vagina and vulva dry with a soft, clean towel.This is very important. If left undried, it can breedbacteria and cause infections. -Shave the hair on your genitals. Hairs accumulatesweat which can cause smelling and also harbourbacteria. Naturally, vagina should not smell like tin fish, vanillaor baby powder or strawberry. But if the odor is foul,you certainly have an infection. Never use chemicalsto give it a good smell.
