Gita 13..arjun asks..o kesava, i should like to know about prakriti (matter or nature) ,purusha (spirit) kshetra (the field),kshetrajna (knower of the field) knowledge and object of knowledge.shri krishna says that the body is called kshetra the field where pleasure and pain are experienced through the physical, mental and causal bodies).he who beholds the kshetra (body) as distinct from himself, through knowledge,is called kshetrajana (over soul) .he is (indwelling spitit) silent witness of all fields.and not an object in the world.knowledge of kshetra and kshetrajna (ie, of matter with its evolutes and the spirit) is called supreme wisdom.
