† Give And You Will Receive † Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38 ESV Once when they were taking an offering for a visiting speaker at our church, I gave $40 in the offering basket. Two weeks later, someone who was just an acquaintance gave me $4,000. It was exactly one-hundred fold of what I had given in that offering. They said “I just feel like I should help you buy another car.” One Christmas I fixed up three computers from spare parts and gave them to three widows who did not have one. It was not much, but it was the best that I could do at the time. A few months later, a business owner I knew closed his business and gave me over $10,000 worth of new computers, servers, and equipment. I gave money and received money in return, but multiplied. I gave computers and received computers, increased in number and quality. I believe that if I had given beans, I would probably have received a lot of beans. Give a special gift to someone that you would like to receive yourself. In time, an even better one will find its way to you. I received just what I gave, but better and multiplied.
